On top of Singapore: the SkyPark infinity pool

The Marina Sands Hotel is not exactly the kind of place that would make an entry in our bucket list, except for one thing. Its pièce de résistance, the SkyPark with the sensational infinity pool perched on top of the hotel towers is a good reason to book a room.

We’ll refrain from commenting on the architecture of this $5.7 billion colossus of a hotel, preferring to focus instead on the incredible rooftop pleasure park, with its absolutely stunning infinity pool.

It’s the largest and highest-placed infinity pool of this size (150m long) in the world, sitting at 200 meters on top of the hotel towers. Short of taking to the air in a helicopter, there is simply no better spot to gaze at the Singapore’s cityscape.

Access to the SkyPark is for Marina Bay Sands Hotel Guests only—which provides some exclusivity, though there is also observation deck (Sky Park observatory) available to the public for $20 per ticket.
